    Alien to Loveby Jerry Patterson

"Adapting to life and love on planet Earth"
Halee and Jacques-Lynn aren't really aliens, as they are descendants of people taken from Europe during the Middle Ages. With out-of-this-world talents, attitudes and dating customs, they hilariously adapt to their new home. The story is set in southwestern France, but with American lead characters.

imageABOUT THE AUTHORThe author of hundreds of nonfiction magazine articles, Jerry Patterson has written four scripts, in four different genres, since switching to fiction a few years ago, including an animal drama/fantasy he co-authored.
NOTE: Although this sci-fi romantic comedy has no foul language or graphic sex, it does contain suggestive language and situations. It aims for a PG-13 rating.

Are men from "Mars" and women from Venus?" Absolutely! Two gorgeous mind-reading female aliens clad only in plants and flowers come in peace to planet Earth on a life or death mission --and unexpectedly fall in love with Earthling men. This inter-species romance is hilarious and touching, and the danger the aliens face from terrorists is credible. Happily, against the odds, true love survives.

"Alien" deserves to be a full-fledged film. Maybe it'd sell if the war scenes were removed, thereby reducing the film budget? Of course, that would change the plot somewhat, but with a little imagination.....

You make a good point, fishinwells, but most of our writers are weary of producers who want to butcher a story to cut costs -- or offer options that are never exercised. We hope some of them do hold out for a "real" sale.

The thought of removing the fight scenes from "Aliens" is a tragedy, the fight scenes is the imagination and the love is the heart. The money that they would spend to keep it they would make ten-fold. Great script. Love it.
